This park is the last sector of the Abandoibarra Masterplan, whose function is to link the surrounding public spaces and envelop the university and residential buildings. A set of terraces opens up a system of connections that lead pedestrians towards the Bilbao estuary, each one distinctively treated to generate new experiences. On the edges, bordering Mazarredo Street and the Deusto Bridge, stainless steel cladding was created to hide walls and define the limits, dialoguing with the rest of the elements. Within the terraced topography, a service pavilion is integrated with the moss garden, the Iberdrola gardens and the perimeter walls, forming areas of diverse character that enrich this project of connection and linkage with the environment.
