BP House

Status: Built
Year: 2005
Location: City of Buenos Aires
Argentina

This house is squeezed into a narrow 8.66-meter wide lot, flanked by two high walls. Its innovative design adopts a zigzagging, lightning-like shape that allows it to bounce from one wall to the other. The house is divided into separate wings for adults and children, converging in a large central double-height space. Here a floating metal structure stands out, which functions as a desk, generating different environments depending on the perspective. This open core is fluidly linked to the front and rear courtyards, achieving a harmonious fusion between interior and exterior spaces.
