Civic Center of the City of Buenos Aires

The initial premise of the project was the creation of a large park, which would revitalize the entire area. That is why it was decided to completely restrict vehicular traffic at sidewalk level.
The next premise has been to give a strong identity to the buildings of the new Civic Center program.
The existing buildings are currently distributed in a chaotic manner on the site. We have used this chaos to generate a new order, a new landscape, by means of orbits that surround and embrace the old buildings. Each programmatic unit is then expressed as an identifiable, functionally concentrated building.
The premise has also been to create a large meeting place emblematic of the complex, a civic plaza that brings together the most representative buildings.
